Angel McCoughtry

Angel McCoughtry is a 2x Gold Medalist and 5x WNBA All Star. In 2009, Angel was the first overall pick of the WNBA Atlanta Dream. That season, Angel would go on to win Rookie of the Year. While being well decorated in the WNBA, McCoughtry’s biggest athletic achievements came in 2012 Summer Olympics (in London) and the 2016 Summer Olympics (in Rio), where she would earn two gold medals. After spending 10 years in Atlanta, Angel has now taken her talents out west to play for the Las Vegas Aces.

While Angel has a ton of accolades on the court, she has been extremely busy building her enterprise off the court. In 2016, McCoughtry announced that she’s opening an ice cream shop in downtown Atlanta, GA and 2017 “McCoughtry’s Ice Cream” was born. In 2018, Angel launched McCoughtry Entertainment, a new age production and content creation company. She executive produced her first short film titled “Mom’s Work” (Watch Video Here).

In 2019, Angel became the first WNBA athlete to host a basketball camp in Ghana. Angel currently works with companies such as NBA Cares, Adidas, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Alliance Bernstein, Microsoft and others to help to continue to impact and make a difference.
